Next Time Try Tapenade

The best olive tapenade recipe! Use on bread, in pasta, on a sandwich, on hummus or even on pizza! Everyone will love this easy recipe!

The savory, salty, lemony flavors of this tapenade work so well together. I encourage you to try this recipe even if you typically stave off the fruit. It’s a perfect year round go-to for anyone who loves to entertain. Olives are packed with nutritional goodness loaded with vitamin E, Iron, Copper, Calcium and antioxidants (great for heart health). Add the tapenade to your charcuterie board, spread it on a sandwich, mix it in with your favorite pasta, or throw a little on a salad!

Note: The Aleppo pepper will most likely not be available at your local grocery store and will have to be ordered online. However, if you love to cook, Aleppo pepper should have a home in your spice cabinet. This pepper is frequently used in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern foods, and has a sweet yet smokey taste.

To make, throw all the ingredients into a Cuisinart and pulse until coarsely chopped. You can also chop everything by hand, but I prefer using a food processor. Serve in a small bowl or, if you have time, fill a small bowl, chill for about an hour, and flip upside down onto a plate for a molded tapenade!

I hope you love this as much as I do!
